If you know me and Katie you know that we are big animal lovers and when we heard ‘meowing’ outside our cabin one morning we went straight to the door to greet our guest, there’s so many stray cats and dogs in Serbia we had to be a bit weary of him, but we fed him and he then strolled over to our log fire and laid down and went to sleep, it was so cold outside this day that we let him stay for a while. As a few hours went by he was so lovely and would come jump on us laying all over us, he definitely wasn’t one of the strays and had probably come to us for his second breakfast that day, we named him Tommy and he came back to us everyday, and we always made sure we had a tin of tuna waiting for him.

This is the small community of Milev in the town of Mokra Gora, a few log cabins only available to tourists, you can find them on Air BnB or through booking.com they had a rating of 9.5 which attracted us to them in the first place and they really were as beautiful as they look, we stayed in our cabin for 4 nights and our host Alexander couldn’t do enough for us, from coming to check on us 3 times a day to see how we were doing and making sure our log fire never went out, to even offering to wash and dry our dirty washing! Couldn’t of been more happy with our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in the town of Mokra Gora.
